Finding your way

Jægersborg Hegn is a 435-hectare forest located along Øresund in the Municipality of Rudersdal. To the west, it is bounded by the decommissioned railway line between Nærum and Vedbæk. Today, this is a walking and cycling trail called Grisestien, named after Nærumgrisen, the train which rode the line.

By Mølleåen to the south, Jægersborg Hegn borders Jægersborg Dyrehave, of which it was a part for over 150 years.

Parking

There are carparks at Skodsborg Station, in two locations along Skodsborgvej, which traverses Jægersborg Hegn towards Nærum and at Strandmøllen, at Raadvad Kro and at Stampen.

Public transport

Both Kystbanetog (“coastal railway”) and Regionaltog (“regional train”) arrive at Skodsborg Station. Bus numbers 190, 193, 194 and 195 go along Skodsborgvej through Jægersborg Hegn and number 187 goes to Raadvad on weekdays.
