Nature in Education

The Nature Agency offers nature awareness guidance at nature schools and nature bases throughout Denmark. Advice, teaching, camping and masses of nature experiences are available to schools, daycare centres and so on.

Materials and teaching

The Nature Agency issues teaching materials
for all school classes on topics such as climate, biodiversity, wildlife and forest resources. The materials are free.

Find a nature interpreter

The Danish Rangers Association will direct you to qualified Danish nature interpreters. The Nature Agency is a partner in the nature interpreter network.

Find nature schools and nature bases

Schools and institutions can usually use a nature school free of charge if they are from the same municipality as pays for operation of the nature school. Teaching by nature interpreters from a nature school is available for other schools and institutions for a fee.
Many nature schools hold events for the public and offer guided tours for companies or private groups.
