Accessible Nature Experiences

Here you can find inspiration for easily accessible nature experiences across the country.

Welcome

Welcome to the Nature Agency's page, designed for those who wish to explore our beautiful nature but may face challenges due to using a wheelchair, walker, stroller, or similar.

At the Nature Agency, we are committed to making nature accessible for everyone. We are continuously working to ensure that nature is open and welcoming for you.
While we recognize that not all areas are fully accessible yet, we are constantly working to improve accessibility in state-owned natural areas so that more people can enjoy our shared natural spaces.

On udinaturen.dk, you can search for and find suggestions for easily accessible hiking routes. Filter by routes and viewpoints without stairs, accessible toilets, shelters with lifts or pull-out floors, and routes with low visitor traffic. You can also search based on route length and incline. These search options were developed with input from people with disabilities, ensuring they accommodate a wide range of needs.
