You can camp for free overnight at many of the Nature Agency's sites.
In general dogs must be kept on a lead in the countryside. There are special woods for dogs where they can run free - provided your dog has been trained to come when called.
Cook your food over an open fire. The Danish Nature Agency's camp fire sites are available to everyone and need not be booked.
Fresh air, beautiful surroundings and a soft surface underfoot. There are many good reasons to plan your running route in the countryside. You can also exercise in the countryside or take a stopwatch and test your fitness on one of the Nature Agency health trails.

In general you are welcome to ride in all publicly owned forests. You must have a riding pass for the woods and forests around Copenhagen.
