Rømø

The 9km-long Rømø dyke leads directly to the largest island in the Wadden Sea with completely different nature than that seen on the mainland. The up to 3km-wide sandy beach on Rømø is the most popular spot on the island, and there is room for everyone. However, the plantations with hills and bunkers are also worth visiting. So is the dune heath with its beautiful parabolic sand dunes, migratory birds, and the impressive Kommandørgård farm.
